The Empowerment Lunch is held at the War Memorial on Grosse Pointe. The objective of the lunch is to raise awareness of vulnerable young women in the Shepherd Hall Transitional Living Program. Co- Chaired by Joanne Finnorn from Superior Industries, Bill O’Dell and Kathryn Hohmann, from FORD and 10-20 business leaders are challenged to host a table at the event and invite 8-10 co-workers or friends to attend the event and donate $100+ each. The early afternoon consists of a lunch-style buffet, an inspirational program, and a moment to donate. The event wraps up before 1 pm.
