Vice President of Academic Development Programs
Vice President of Academic Development Programs, Karen Hall started her career at Vista Maria in February, 1995. She is responsible for providing leadership for the planning, implementation and management of all residential treatment. Early in her career she served Vista Maria as a group social worker for the Special Care Unit (clients suffering from severe and complex trauma). She has also served as the Director of Quality where she and her team were responsible for establishing quality improvement targets, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, and ensuring the implementation of an annual quality plan for all Vista Maria programs. Karen has successfully led the agency’s re-accreditation from COA, and oversees all regulatory licensure compliance, and administration and routing of all residential and foster care program contracts and corrective action plans for the agency.
Prior to coming to Vista Maria, Karen was a counselor for Parkside Mental Health Service in Detroit. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice. She also has her certification in conducting investigations since 1999.
