Partnerships

A Network of Support

InSight Youth and Family Connections offers a wide variety of programs and services through our network of providers.  We provide supervision, treatment, and case management to youth and families assigned to us through the Wayne County Department of Health, Human, and Veterans Services. These services are selected based upon the specific treatment needs identified by the youth, their families, and the Wayne County Third Judicial Court.

Residential

Crossroads for Youth

Crossroads for Youth is a private nonprofit serving youth ages 7–17. Using Choice Theory, Collaborative Problem Solving, and trauma-informed care, they help youth build self-awareness, make thoughtful decisions, and begin emotional and psychological healing.

Highfields

Provides adolescent males, ages 11-17, residential treatment that is designed to help change their behaviors and thought processes. At Highfields, residents learn independent living skills and begin to take responsibility for their own lives.

Holy Cross Children’s Services

HCS provides substance use and co-occurring mental health disorder treatment through co-workers who are highly trained and committed to individual wellness, family stability, and positive organizational change.

Spectrum Juvenile Justic Services

Spectrum Juvenile Justice Services offers intensive residential treatment for male youth ages 11–20 at the Calumet and Lincoln Centers in Highland Park. Programs serve juvenile sex offenders, high-risk offenders, and those with severe substance use issues.

Wayne County Juvenile Detention Center

WCJDF provides safe, secure, and humane detention for youth awaiting court decisions. Residents receive education, medical and dental care, mental health support, recreation, counseling, and behavior management services.

Wolverine Human Services

Wolverine Human Services’ programs support adolescents facing abuse, neglect, or delinquency. Residential treatment is grounded in proven principles that promote their health and well-being.

Assured Family Services

An organization dedicated to supporting environments where children and families can flourish. AFS maintains a clinically sound environment with a professional, multi-disciplinary approach toward delivering quality services. 

Black Family Development

Black Family Development, Inc. offers a full continuum of services to support children, families, and communities. BFDI builds partnerships, honors cultural identity, and empowers youth with the knowledge and confidence needed to achieve positive outcomes.

CHOICES Program

C.H.O.I.C.E.S. (Community Health, Outreach, Intervention and Clinical Engagement Services) is an outpatient community mental health treatment program at Assured Family Services, providing individual, family, and group therapy. 

Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network

Serving 75,000 children and adults in Detroit and Wayne County, DWIHN’s provider network supports children with severe emotional disturbance, and people with mental illness, autism, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorder.

MiSide

A full-service partner for people of all ages and backgrounds, helping with everything from early childhood development and mental health and wellness to employment and wealth management, or even finding a place to call home.

HEGIRA health

Since 1971 Hegira Health, Inc. (HHI) offers accessible, personalized mental health and substance use treatment for people of all ages. Services include outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, prevention programs, and integrated care, supporting individuals and families from all income levels.

Lincoln Behavioral Services

LBS is a nonprofit mental health center funded by the State of Michigan, serving about 5,400 people annually with comprehensive, evidence-based programs for adults, children, and adolescents. They’ve provided care for individuals with mental illness for over 40 years.

STARFISH Family Services

Serving over 4,000 children and their families annually, Starfish provides high-quality programs and support services that focus on early childhood education and development, behavioral health wellness, and empowered parents.

Southwest Solutions

Programs include mental health counseling, children and youth services, affordable and supportive housing, veteran services, homeownership services, real estate and commercial development, financial coaching, job training and adult literacy, minority small business training and more.

The Children’s Center of Wayne County

The Children’s Center provides specialized clinical care for children facing behavioral, emotional, developmental, and educational challenges. Using a trauma-informed, whole-child approach, we work with families and community partners to remove barriers and deliver integrated, comprehensive support.

The Guidance Center

The Guidance Center provides mental health services, early childhood education, free preschool, developmental disability support, substance use treatment, mentoring, workforce development, and more across 23 southeast Michigan locations. 

Ruth Ellis Center

Providing trauma-informed services for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults, with a focus on youth of color experiencing homelessness, child welfare involvement, or health and wellness barriers. Nationally recognized for innovative, inclusive care that prioritizes safety, dignity, and belonging.

Schools

WESTFIELD PREP

Located in Redford Charter Twp., Westfield Preparatory High School prepares students for college, and to reach the highest level once they get there.

Vista Meadows Academy

The school is located on the campus of Vista Maria and features five important characteristics, which are small class sizes, a beautiful campus, extensive after-school programming, free credit recovery, and college readiness assessments.
